= B.A. in journalism from the Faculty of Mass-Communication, Cairo University, 1994. A journalist on the staff of Al-Ahram Newspaper.

= Author of: "Between the Two of Them, Time Gets Rusty" (1994), "All by Himself, He Listens to the Concert of Chemistry" (1996), "Colors Tremble Covetously" (1999),  "THE COMPLETE COLLECTION OF A ROBOT" (2 books of verse, 2008-2012), and "As if a Moon Surrounding Me" (2013).

= He has 2 Arabic poetry books translated into French, and published  in Paris: ("UN VENT DIGNE D’ÊTRE LU", and "MESSAGES PORTÉES PAR LA FUMÉE", L'Harmattan, 2014, 2016).

= His books of verse "THE COMPLETE COLLECTION OF A ROBOT",  had been taught at The University of Iowa, in USA.

= Some of his poems are translated into English, Italian, and French.

= He also made  a study on  the role of place in the works of Naguib Mahfouz, under the title of "The Popular Districts in the Novels of Naguib Mahfouz, between Reality and Innovation", Egyptian-Lebanese Publishing House, 2006.
