Raafat El Senousi is an Egyptian poet, literary critic and playwright born in 1972. His poems have been published in well recognized Egyptian and other Arab journals and magazines. His poems were also broadcast on Egyptian Radio and Television as well as on ART channel and others.
He holds a Social studies degree ( 1994) and a post-graduate diploma in Manuscripts and Arab Heritage(1999).
Awards in poetry:
1- First place in Taha Hussein center poetry competition (2002).
2- Second place in cultural palaces-general central committee-(2003).
3- Abdullah BaSharhil (Saudi poet) award (2007).
4- Arabic theatre institution award/Al Sharjah,UAE (2009).
5- High cultural committee’s award (more than once).
6- Best critic award- Cultural Palaces (2008).
7- First place in Alexandria library competition (2013).
