Ines Abbasi

Tunisia

A Tunisian poet, writer, translator, and children's literature writer (born in Tunis, 1982). She won the Best Tunisian Poetry Book Award in 2004 for "Secrets of the Wind," the Danish Institute Prize in Damascus for her story "War of 2012," the CREDIF Prize in 2007 for her poetry book "The Blind Archive," and the Komar Prize in 2018 for "Bourguiba's House." Her stories and poems have been translated into French, English, Korean, Swedish, Danish, and Spanish.
