• From 2009 to 2019: Media Counselor at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
• 2018: Prepared ten episodes of "Hewar Fekry" program, broadcast by al-Bawadi channel, affiliated to Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation in Kuwait. The episodes included ten thinkers and intellectuals in various cultural fields including poetry, literature, criticism, cinema, language, civilization and heritage. The episodes were broadcast from January to May 2019.
• April 2017: Founded the Arab site for "Sawt Al Arab" radio from America www.arabradio.us , and became its chief editor from May 2017 to March 2018. (This site is launched in the United States and directed to the Arabs of the Diaspora in particular and the Arabs in general. It is owned and managed by the media director Laila Husseini)
• November 2015: Visited the United States at the invitation of US Arab Radio Foundation, where he had a live interview via "Sawt Al Arab" radio from America and met a number of Arab Community figures in Michigan, Washington and Boston.
• October 2015: Visited the Sultanate of Oman at the invitation of the House of Al-Ghasham for Culture and Arts to learn about the experience of the Omani Narrative Review, visit the Shura Council elections there, visit some media institutions and learn about the status of the Omani press.

In Culture:
• From 2010 to 2019: Supervisor of the cultural activity of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina International Book Fair.
• From 2014 till now: Presents many lectures on the mechanism of confronting harassment and the phenomenon of electronic harassment and its confrontation in a number of cultural centers and cultural palaces.
• From 2012 till now: Presents a series of lectures on awareness of the importance, role and pros and cons of social media in different and cultural palaces and centers.
• From 2010 till now: supervises the cultural activity of the Alexandria International Book Fair at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, which is held annually and offers at least 150 activities within two weeks (the duration of the exhibition). It hosts at least 650 guests and is attended by at least 15,000 people from Alexandria audience. At the Alexandria International Book Fair, he supervises a large number of young volunteers (at least 150 young men and women) whom he trains on organization, receiving the guests, arranging the meetings and gives them the opportunities to conduct some meetings during the exhibition.
• 2009: He founded the Narrative Review at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Library, which is held every Tuesday from December 2009 until now. It is supervised by the writer Mounir Otaiba, and it is a weekly forum that discusses, criticizes and analyzes all the forms of narrative including stories and novels.
• 2009 and 2011: Participated in the founding of the Alexandria Conference on Digital Culture, which was held twice.
• From 2006 to 2009: He founded and supervised the "Digital Culture Forum" at El Tazawok Art Center, affiliated to the Ministry of Culture, during which he discussed many topics of digital culture.
• From 2004 to 2006: Founded and supervised the "Internet Salon" at Al-Horeyya Center of Arts in Alexandria, affiliated to the Cultural Development Fund at the Ministry of Culture, during which he discussed many issues of digital culture.

• 22 - 28 September 2009: Visited India with the Intercultural Dialogue Forum of the Coptic Evangelical Organization, during which he conducted a dialogue on religions through models of Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and Islamic religions.

• 2007: He presented a working paper entitled "Intellectual Property Protection on the Internet: The Union of Arab Internet Authors as a Model" during the "Electronic Publishing" conference organized by the Supreme Council of Culture in Egypt.
• 18-19 December 2004: Represented Egypt in the conference of "Modern Media and Youth Issues" organized by the Jordanian Center for Social Research in Amman, Jordan in collaboration with the German Heinrich Böll Foundation, and he presented a paper on his "Experience in Electronic Journalism"
• 18 October- 4 November 2004: Participated in an online workshop entitled "The Use of Internet in Development and Human Rights" organized by the Center for Knowledge Society in Cairo and attended by 25 members of the media and Internet professionals in the Arab world. This is the first workshop of its kind using the idea of distance training as the workshop was conducted online as a whole.
• 25-27 May 2004: Represented Egypt in the conference of "Media and Youth" organized by the Swedish Institute in Alexandria affiliated to the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and participated among researchers from 10 foreign and Arab countries with a research paper entitled "Arbitrary of Children-Targeted Media"
• June 1996: Participated in the Second International Conference of the Tibet Advocacy in Bonn, Germany, at the invitation of the Tibetan government in exile, with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. This conference was attended by the Dalai Lama and received wide international reactions and led to the closing of the office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation in China.

Publications:
• 2015: Published a study at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina entitled "Monitoring Cultural Life in Alexandria". It was published in a book during the "Cultural Diversity" conference organized by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in cooperation with the European Union. The study included an inventory of cultural centers in Alexandria whether governmental, private or other. It showed the impact of these centers on the cultural movement of the city of Alexandria in numbers and percentages.
• 1995: Participated in the publication of the book "Alexandria the Cradle of Egyptian Cinema", which was issued by the Ministry of Culture, as part of a celebration of cinema held at El-Anfoshy Palace of Culture in Alexandria.

• The book "Migratory Birds .. Dialogues about Alienation" which contains the stories of Egyptians and Arabs who migrated to Europe and America, their success stories, the cultural differences they faced in the Diaspora, and their association with their home countries.
