ABSTRACT
Tardive dystonia has recently been emphasised in the literature as a complication of the long term use of antipsychotic medications. Compared with the long and better known tardive dyskinesia , it is more diabling and more difficult to manage .
The authers report the development of tardive dystonia in a young Saudi male with a schizophrenic disorder which has been adequatly documented and followed up.
An early sign of " Repetitive forced jaw opening" is reported .
