Ahmed Magdy Hammam (born 1983 in UAE) is an Egyptian novelist, storyteller and journalist.

Ahmed started working as a cultural journalist since 2010. * Cairo International Book Fair Award 2022, Best Novel for his novel "Organized Death" 2022.
* He was shortlisted for the Arablit Story Prize for Best Arabic Short Story Translated into English for his story (Hemingway's Trick), 2021.
* He was shortlisted for the (Asfari) Short Story Prize granted by the American University of Beirut 2018.
* His short story collection, "The Gentleman Prefers Losing Cases", won the (Sawiris) Award for Best Short Story Collection 2016.
* He won the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (Afaq) Grant 2015.
* He received the (Al-Mawrid) Production Grant 2014
