A Prayer to the Lord of Fun:
O Lord of Fun,
Bless me with Thy Great Power
To tickle my funny bone!
O Lord of Fun,
Do not vanquish me
In my moments of misery
When I am in dire need
Of a clown’s bucket of cold water
Over my head!
O Lord of Fun,
May those who do not believe in Thee
Believe in Thee!
That we may all have a good laugh!
O Lord of Fun,
Let Thy Hell be a place
Full of bawdy profane humour
And Thy Heaven
Be a place of Great Mirth!
O Lord of Fun,
Hear our prayers!
Amen.
