Poet and humanist Zorica Sentić passed away on May 4 in Vranje in the village of Levosoje after a long and severe illness.
Zorica was born in Skopje, on September 10, 1955. She grew up in the village of Levosoje. She moved to France at the age of 11, where she lived for the rest of her life. In 2005, she published her first collection of poetry, "Quench the Silence". The second book, "Quench the Silence no. 2 - I love us ", she published in Belgrade in 2008.
She initiated a charity action of collecting books for schools in the villages of Serbia under the slogan "Let's give a word" with the goal that all villages in Serbia get their own library.
