بين ذراعيك هدهديني... Born in Amman on the 15th of October, 1971. She graduated from the University of Jordan with a degree in English language and Literature. Since graduation, she has worked as a teacher of English at the National Orthodox School in Amman. She is currently teaching English as a second language for IGCSE students as well as O-level literature for GCE students. Kawther is a member in I*Earn-International Education and Resource Network- which is an organization that aims at training students in different parts of the world to collaborate and work together via Internet on different projects for the good of the human race. Right now, she and her students are joining a project that aims at fighting against child labor. Students are also writing essays and articles about the massacres of Deir Yaseen, AlAmiryeh and Quana which will be published in the I*Earn yearly journal. Next year, God willing, they are planning to launch a project that aims at raising funds to send medication and food for Iraqi children. Kawther only started writing last year. She had some articles and poems published in the Egyptian magazine "Hawa". A collection of short stories is underway. © 1998-2000 Arab World Books |
